"Dr. Gellis and his staff made me feel at ease and recommended a treatment plan that was tailored to my needs. I typically have some anxiety when going to the dentist , due to the sounds of the machinery. However, Dr. Gellis and his staff offered a laundry list of complimentary amenities such as a warm neck pillow, headphones, and warm hand wipe to put my anxieties at ease. They were even able to move up my appointment so that I could receive care sooner and did not need to prolong having my crown installed! I’ve had bad experiences in the past and because of that have neglected my teeth . They helped me through my anxiety and treated me as if I was someone special. And that’s just it . "WoW. First time patient. I have never ever had the kind of experience I just had at the dentist so my favorite place I don't hate it but I also don't like it. I went to the dentist today off of a recommendation and when I walked in the zen you felt was crazy. The receptionist Megan who was great so nice. The dental hygienist I dealt with was so funny we had stories but then. You get like a spa like treatment. I got hand spa where I put my hand in wax they covered them with mittens they're so soft. Then I got a neck pillow that was warm and smelled great It was very clean, everybody was nice. wow just wow. Highly recommend!!!"

"I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dental Arts of Rockland. My mom was experiencing significant tooth pain from a cavity and is extremely anxious about dentist visits, so finding the right place was really important to us. The team was incredibly caring and compassionate. They scheduled her emergency visit quickly and followed up via text in the evening to make sure she could be seen the very next day.The office itself is warm and welcoming, and the staff truly go above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable. Small touches like the warm neck pad made such a difference in easing her anxiety. Every single person on the team is friendly, patient, and genuinely takes the time to get to know her.What started as a stressful and painful situation turned into such a positive experience that my mom actually looks forward to seeing Dr. Gellis and his team, which says everything. I would say this place is nothing less than amazing. I walked in and the decor took my breath away. I had previously spoke to Maegan who made my appt. I was greeted at the front desk by Maegan whose customer service was stellar. I was offered a list of services I could enjoy while visiting. I eas greeted by my hygienist Maryanne. "Boy oh boy... I really don't have enough kind things to say about this practice. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, you are treated so kindly and with so much respect and warmth. I found this office about two years ago because I wanted some cosmetic work done. Instead of just taking the easy road and making the money, Dr Gellis and his team recommended Invisalign with an orthodontist before the cosmetic work, so that I would get the best results and preserve more of my natural smile. They have been on my side every step of the way over the last year and a half, constantly checking in and making sure I'm happy. He even brought in the crown and veneer color specialist to my prep appointment so they he could ensure the color match was perfect on the first try. We are almost at the finish line and I am so grateful I found them when I did. I will never go to another dentist LOL. Best practice I have ever encountered."

I was near tears calling around to her former pediatric dentist, her regular doctor, her orthodontist...hitting wall after wall. I was about to head to the ER and decided to call Dental Arts of Rockland, expecting more of the same.Instead? I got kindness. I got humanity. The receptionist, Randi, actually listened, showed compassion, and called me back within five minutes to say that Dr. Gellis would squeeze her in before closing.When we walked in, I thought I’d wandered into a spa. Cozy décor, soft lighting, plants, an electric fireplace, even a stocked snack and coffee bar. There was no weird dental smell or sounds of suction or drilling. Randi then hands me a SPA MENU for my daughter while she waits...heated neck wraps, hand wax treatments, cold eye compresses.The care was just as extraordinary. Doreen was incredibly gentle and warm, like a maternal presence you didn’t realize you needed. Dr. Gellis himself was straightforward, kind, and nonjudgmental. He clearly explained what he could do that day, what might still hurt afterward, and how we could manage it. He didn't promise miracles, he did what he could and that gave me something my daughter and I needed - Peace of mind.Needless to say I found a new dentist! Thank you Dr. Gellis!"

I recently cracked my front tooth at work and was so upset—not just because the damage was front and center in my mouth, but because I’ve always had a fear of dentists due to bad past experiences in childhood. Dr. Gellis completely changed that for me. He fit me in for an emergency appointment at the last minute, even though my case was very difficult due to a lot of previous dental work. He saw how upset i was and knew i did not want to take the chance of the tooth coming out during non- business hours so even though the office was very busy - he came up with a plan and told me he would stay late to do the work. I went back at 6pm. He had to pull it and make a temporary that consisted of 3 temp teeth - i had been worried all day, but Dr. Gellis had a plan in place and reassured me every step of the way. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—he took care of everything, which made an overwhelming situation so much easier for me. On top of all that, Dr. Gellis worked tirelessly and with such precision to create the perfect temporary teeth. When he showed them to me, I actually cried (happy tears). The color matched perfectly, the size was flawless, and they looked completely natural. Not only is Dr. Gellis is incredibly skilled and meticulous in his work, but he’s also kind, compassionate, and truly cares about his patients. He made sure the entire process was painless, even the injections, which I usually dread. The staff are also amazing. They do everything possible to make an unpleasant situation the best it can be. I walked in the door and was greeted by Meghan, who greets everyone with a smile, always remembers me and makes me feel at home, offering heated blankets, paraffin treatment, neck wraps etc. and making sure you get in to see the dentist timely. "I initially went there back in 2011 because my in network dentist gave me the worse looking crown I’ve ever seen there was no way I could smile with confidence. I seen a commercial for D.A.R. and I said hopefully they could help me fix this failure. When I showed up for my first appointment I was Impressed by the decor the potpourri and the amazing staff. I knew I was in good hands. Last year my crown broke so I needed an implant, so I decided to stay in network and not take the referral from D.A.R. another big mistake. The oral surgeon I went to through my network did such a horrible job on the placement of my implant on top of that they refused to fix their mistake correctly SMH, but D.A.R. fixed their mistake and helped me regain my confidence once again. Colleen, Megan, Dr Gellis, and all other staff at Dental Arts of Rockland are amazing, knowledgeable and helpful, if I had to do it all again I would absolutely chose them. 10 out of 10, I absolutely recommend. Any dental issue I’ve ever had has been addressed quickly and appropriately. The office is absolutely beautiful (I want to move in) and the amenities offered upon arrival are fantastic. My warm neck-wrap is a must, but feel free to enjoy the coffee bar or get a hand paraffin treatment among so many other goodies. "I have Finally got around to writing a review.I have been a patient of Dr Blechman for over 9 yrs, and now two kids later I still remain one!He is not only an excellent dentist, he is a gentleman who really does care and makes you feel comfortable.He is always professional and kind and even on his busiest of days, always takes his time in fixing the problem so you can get on with life again.My teeth are no way perfect, and I know I will probably need more work in the coming months & years- but that is ok cause with this dental practice, it makes visiting less of a nightmare!Dr Blechman’s staff / nurses are amazing (Meghan, Colleen, Doreen to name a few)They are genuinely lovely people who also do great work.I will stay with Dr Blechman- ‘Dental Arts of Rockland as long as they continue to exist."

"I called dental Arts of rockland at 8am on a Saturday morning due to extreme tooth pain and not being able to sleep. They told me to head over as soon as possible and took me in as soon as I got there. I had to get a tooth pulled that day. While all the oral surgeons in the area were closed on Saturday, Megan made it a point to make sure she finds me somewhere to go to have my tooth extracted, and she did.Aside from this, all the staff are professional, caring and compassionate."
